About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Eco Exchange Pte Ltd in the Kranji North Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our warehousing and distribution operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse facility, ensuring that all goods are handled, stored, and dispatched with the utmost care and accuracy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the dynamic warehousing and logistics sector whilst contributing to our company's continued success.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking, and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system

• Organising and storing items in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory management and accessibility

• Picking and packing items accurately according to customer orders and delivery requirements

• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, taking care to prevent damage

• Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse, including housekeeping and regular inspections

• Assisting with stock counting and inventory audits to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys, and other handling machinery as required

• Supporting the warehouse team in achieving daily targets and operational goals

• Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisory staff immediately

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse or 3PL environment is preferred

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly, including lifting and carrying cargo up to 30kg

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisory staff

• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Ability to work OT

• A commitment to health and safety standards and willingness to adhere to company policies

• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing warehouse demands
