Process / Lab Engineer (Inspection / Metal Process) Entry Level - #1168822

Our client is a well-established manufacturer specializing in electrical power distribution and industrial solutions. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Process Engineer (Entry Level) to support manufacturing excellence and operational improvements. They are located in the (North / West) – easily accessible.

Entry level salary around $4000

West - Semiconductor
North - Electrical Part

Responsibilities:

• Develop, standardize, and maintain manufacturing processes and production procedures across regional operations.

• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• Support the deployment of standardized production processes across local and overseas manufacturing facilities.

• Manage and optimize production systems for switchgear manufacturing and assembly operations.

• Conduct process audits, ensure compliance with operational standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide engineering support for manufacturing operations and other process-related projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of manufacturing process improvement and production system optimization.

• Experience supporting process standardization, implementation, or automation projects.

• Able to travel overseas when required.

Assistant Engineer - Bukit Batok (Inspection Devices)

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair of industrial inspection and testing equipment.

• Diagnose equipment faults and provide technical troubleshooting support at customer sites and in-house service facilities.

• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and application support to support customer requirements.

• Prepare service reports, calibration records, maintenance documentation, and technical reports.

• Coordinate with overseas principals and internal departments on technical support, warranty claims, and service activities.

• Provide after-sales support, including equipment servicing, customer training, and technical consultation.

• Support sales activities by identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable technical solutions.

• Ensure equipment performance meets operational, quality, and safety standards in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of industrial equipment.

• Experience with inspection, measurement, testing, or instrumentation equipment will be an advantage.

• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving Licence and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
