Manufacturing Technician - #1167879

The primary function of a Manufacturing Technician is to carry out assembly and testing of products using automated equipment in a cleanroom environment, as well as performing rework and rebuilding for products which fail, to ensure product quality through adherence to processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations: Set up, operate and monitor production machinery to assemble, test and rebuild products according to technical specifications.

• Store Management: Receive and inspect incoming parts and components and verify outgoing finished products, and report when there is any mismatch.

• Quality Control: Test, inspect and record finished products for defects to ensure compliance to quality standards.

• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime. Maintain cleanliness of cleanroom and storeroom following 5S requirements.

• Documentation: Record production, maintenance and material usage data accurately, and report when materials do not meet manufacturing requirements and schedule.

• Safety Compliance: Follow environment, health and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and report all near-misses and incidents.

Education: ITE Certificate in Operations or Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, operation or engineering
