Accounting Executive (6-month contract | East Region | Urgent Hiring) - #1166226

We are looking for an Accountant to join the Group Finance team on a 6-month contract to support a corporate liquidation project. Your main focus will be resolving inter-company balances across multiple entities — both local and overseas.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. You'll be working directly with the numbers, reconciling balances, preparing settlement documentation, and coordinating with finance teams, tax agents, auditors, and banks to get things done.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review and reconcile inter-company balances across multiple entities

• Extract and analyse accounting data from the ERP system and financial records

• Prepare working papers and supporting schedules for inter-company settlements

• Coordinate with internal finance teams to validate balances and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare documentation for cross-border remittances, debt waivers, and other settlements

• Liaise with external parties — tax consultants, banks, auditors, and corporate secretaries

• Track settlement progress and maintain accurate records

• Support year-end financial statement preparation for dormant companies

• Assist with tax compliance filings and documentation

What We're Looking For (Must-Have)

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or a related discipline

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience

• Hands-on experience with inter-company accounting and reconciliation

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data extraction)

• Able to start by late October 2026

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Experience preparing statutory financial statements

• Experience supporting tax compliance processes

• Background in corporate restructuring or liquidation work
