Job Summary
The Procurement cum Logistics Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and logistics processes of the organization. This role involves sourcing and purchasing goods and services, negotiating with vendors, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating the timely delivery and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing and efficient logistics operations while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and supplier performance. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills to support smooth supply chain operations and contribute to overall business efficiency.
Job Scope:
Logistics & Facilities (70%):
Coordinate the logistics need for Takagi Ramen Outlets by ensuring that all stock is transported to the respective outlets on time from warehouse, assisting driver to unload goods to the outlets when needed.
Upkeep of equipment and supplies at respective outlets to maintain outlet’s smooth operation
Unloading goods from containers to warehouse
Ensure warehouse is arranged in an orderly, safe & clean manner by operating Pallet Jack and Pallet Stacker if needed.
Warehouse Inventory Management (Receiving, checking, ordering and counting of stocks from suppliers), and manage stocks movement
Liaise with freight forwarder and handing import shipment documents
In charge of financial month end & year end physical stocks take listing
Purchasing (30%)
Timely placement of orders according to PAR level to avoid delays in material deliverables.
Monitor and expedite delivery as and when required.
Data Entry for billing to related Takagi Ramen/ Takagi Food/ Daichi Kitchen
Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management
Requirement:
Certificate or Diploma from ITE (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Able to thrive and maintain productivity in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Excellent at managing time efficiently.
Having a Class 3 license is considered a plus.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience coupled with a proactive, can-do attitude.
