Primech A & P is looking for a passionate In-House Trainer to lead our workforce training and development programmes. You will play a key role in planning, designing and delivering training initiatives to build a skilled, capable and future-ready workforce in the facility services sector. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will have the opportunity to develop training strategies and drive improvements in service quality, safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate must possess ACTA/ACLP certification and strong knowledge of cleaning operations, with the ability to lead by example and deliver practical, on-site coaching.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate and conduct on-site training for cleaners (islandwide), including refresher training for existing staff and orientation training for new hires.
Assess employees' competency and identify training needs by working closely with the Operations and HR teams to address performance gaps through targeted training.
Demonstrate correct cleaning methods, equipment usage and chemical handling in accordance with company SOPs and WSH requirements.
Maintain accurate training records, attendance and assessment documentation.
Monitor and report on training effectiveness through workplace observations and performance metrics.
Develop, review and update training materials, SOPs and work instructions.
Support workforce upskilling initiatives and company training programmes, such as promoting the use of workplace digital tools.
Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
ACTA/ACLP certification is compulsory.
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Environmental Cleaning (or relevant cleaning qualifications) will be preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of training experience, preferably within the cleaning industry.
Good knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, industry best practices and workplace safety.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Possession of valid riding/driving license will be advantageous.
Excellent communicator with the ability to engage and coach employees of diverse ages and language abilities.
Organised, proactive and able to work independently.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on and not afraid to get your hands dirty when demonstrating cleaning techniques.
