FAI Technician - #1164439

Key Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Prepare and complete FAI documentation, including ballooned drawings, inspection reports, and related records.

• Verify material certifications, special process documentation, and product traceability.

• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and internal quality procedures.

• Identify inspection issues and support corrective and preventive actions.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection quality and efficiency.

• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection or an FAI-related role.

• Hands-on experience with FAI documentation and reporting is preferred.

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

• Knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment is an advantage.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work in the East Region (Changi North Crescent).
