Job Summary
The Bank IT Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the internal communications from IT to end users across Singapore and the APAC region, supporting enterprise IT service delivery and operational communications.
He/she will participate in IT projects and service initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and promoting bi-directional communication between IT functions (including application teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations) and end users.
He/she will work as a strong communicator and presenter to stakeholders across not only internal IT departments but also end-user business units, information security, IT operations, application support teams, vendors, and Japan Head Office within a matrixed IT operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Establish an internal IT communications strategy in conjunction with senior IT management and IT service owners, aligned with IT governance and service management frameworks.
Ensure organizational IT initiatives, system enhancements, infrastructure changes, and transformation projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders.
Plan, edit, and write content for a variety of internal IT communication channels, such as IT service portals, intranet platforms, ServiceNow announcements, and email broadcast systems.
Respond to end-user feedback, service desk inputs, and incident-related queries, and liaise with system owner teams and application support teams to ensure continuous user engagement and service improvement.
Plan, develop, implement, and monitor the efficiency of internal IT communication processes, aligned with ITIL-based service delivery practices.
Understand and analyze end-user impact, system dependencies, and service implications of IT solutions, and communicate them in clear, non-technical, business-friendly language while maintaining technical accuracy.
Essential Qualifications
Experience in internal communications, IT service communications, or technology stakeholder communications within an enterprise IT environment.
Good understanding of MAS, JFSA, or APAC regulatory technology risk guidelines (e.g. IT risk management, cybersecurity governance, data protection standards) would be valuable.
Ability to translate technical concepts and IT-related information into clear, concise, and user-friendly communications for diverse audiences.
