About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join Design 4 Space Pte Ltd in the East Region. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and creation of inspiring interior spaces. As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in transforming client visions into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. You will work collaboratively with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality interior design solutions that meet both aesthetic and practical requirements. This position is based in the East Region and offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and present innovative interior design concepts and schemes to clients, including floor plans and 3D visualizations

2. Conduct thorough site assessments and client consultations to understand project requirements, budgets, and timelines

3. Create detailed design specifications, material schedules, and procurement lists for interior projects

4. Collaborate with contractors, and suppliers to ensure design implementation aligns with the original vision

5. Select and source appropriate furnishings, finishes, colours, lighting, and decorative elements that complement the overall design scheme

6. Manage project timelines and budgets whilst maintaining quality standards

7. Produce construction drawings and technical documentation to guide installation and execution

8. Conduct site visits during implementation phases to monitor progress and address any design issues

9. Maintain knowledge of current design trends, materials, and industry best practices

10. Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and regular updates

What we're looking for

1. A relevant qualification in Interior Design or equivalent professional experience in the design industry

2. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design projects

3. Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

4. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furnishings, and building codes relevant to interior spaces

5. Excellent spatial awareness and the ability to visualise three-dimensional spaces

6. Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders

7. Project management experience with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple projects simultaneously

8. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and precision in all design deliverables

9. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals

10. Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming design challenges

11. Professional portfolio demonstrating previous interior design work and successful project outcomes
