Opening Job Opportunity:
We have an opening for a Lead Service Engineer in the chiller division. You will work closely with your team to ensure day-to-day operations are executed in a safe and timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for:
What You Will Do:
· Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability for assigned projects and service activities.
· Leads, supports, and collaborates effectively with team members while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Performs and oversees installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of chiller equipment at workshop and customer field sites.
· Ensures strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and installation procedures (on-the-job training will be provided).
· Acts as the primary technical point of contact to proactively manage, facilitate, and resolve customer technical and quality issues through to full closure.
· Prepares detailed service reports and maintains effective communication with the product principal via email and phone regarding service activities and technical matters.
What You Must Have:
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
· Minimum 6 years and above of hands-on experience working with industrial or commercial refrigeration and chiller systems; experience in a lead or senior engineer role is an advantage.
· Strong engineering fundamentals with proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
· Demonstrated ability to lead an engineer team and provide technical guidance on-site or in the workshop.
· Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to interface professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
