1. Job Description
We are a logistics company seeking a resourceful, highly independent, and motivated Finance Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s overall financial reporting and internal control functions to ensure compliance with the statutory requirements, and also support senior management in the execution of their investment, operational and business strategies.
2. Key Responsibilities
(i) To oversee the daily financial operations, and the financial, cash flow, and risk management functions.
(ii) To ensure timely completion of the monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (“SFRS”), and other statutory and tax requirements.
(iii) To review the monthly financial reports and provide insights to management to improve the business performance, financial and investment decisions, and to alert management on the potential issues and propose solutions to these issues.
(iv) Prepare the annual budget, review variances, and propose recommendations for improvement.
(v) To manage the annual audit and liaise with the external auditors, regulators and tax agents.
(vi) To implement and maintain an effective internal control and risk management system.
(vii) To lead and provide supervision and guidance to the finance team members to enhance overall effectiveness.
(viii) Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis, business and investment activities.
3. Requirements
(i) CPA, ACCA or a degree in accounting.
(ii) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
(iii) Good working knowledge of SFRS, budgeting and financial analysis.
(iv) Experienced in audit, regulatory compliance, and internal control systems.
(v) Proficient in accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel.
