Role Summary
The Associate, HR Operations (Intern) will support the HR team in day-to-day administrative and operational activities. This role offers hands-on exposure to core HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications, making it an excellent learning opportunity for individuals interested in building a career in Human Resources. The intern will also have the opportunity to contribute to HR process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the accurate and timely maintenance of HR databases to enable effective HR workflows and processes.
Coordinate in recruitment matters.
Assist in onboarding and orientation programmes for new interns and employees.
Support the planning and execution of company events and employee engagement activities.
Maintain HR filing systems (both digital and physical) in line with established processes and standards.
Assist in preparing internal communications such as HR announcements and updates.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the HR team as required.
Special Project Assignments
Participate in short- to mid-term HR digital transformation initiatives.
Support development of functional specifications for the selection of the next HRM platform.
Assist in HR business process development, review, and documentation.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time-management skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
