Key Responsibilities:

  • Outlet Operations
    Oversee day-to-day of the outlet operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
    Manage opening and closing procedure, cash handling and daily sales reconciliation.
    Maintain impeccable standards of store cleanliness and hygiene.
    Monitor equipment condition and report any maintenance issues.

  • Customer Service Excellence
    Lead by example in delivering exceptional and friendly customer service.
    Actively engage with customers, address inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
    Gather customers' feedback to continually improve the service experience.

  • Sales & Performance
    Drive sales by motivating the team to upsell and recommend products.
    Monitor daily/weekly sales performance and work with Area Manager to achieve targets.
    Track and control wastage by monitoring product shelf life, implementing first-in-first-out (FIFO) practices and reporting slow moving items.
    Ensure bread, cakes and pastries are well-labelled, adjusting displays throughout the day (e.g., replenishing, rearranging of products) to optimize sales.

  • Team Leadership & Development
    Supervise, train and motivate a team of sales staffs and bakers.
    Assist in scheduling staffs' rosters to meet operational needs.
    Conduct on-job training for new hires on product knowledge and operational procedures.
    Be actively involved in all aspects of the outlet (including cashiering, serving customers).
    Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.


Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in F&B/ Retail operations. (Candidates with extensive experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities will be considered for the Assistant Manager role)

  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.

  • Friendly, approachable and able to handle customers' feedback/ complaints professionally.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays and shift hours.

  • Physically fit to handle product stocking, lifting and standing of long hours.
