Production Technician cum Warehouse Assistant - #1115691

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Production Technician Cum Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Rapiscan Systems Pte Ltd. This is a 9-month contract role based in the North Region of Singapore.This position is a project-based role and is not renewable.

In this hybrid role, you will be a key player in both our warehouse and production operations. You will manage the flow of materials and components, from receiving and inspection to kitting and preparing for assembly. In addition, you will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of our products, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

What you'll be doing

Warehouse Operations

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, components, and goods.

• Store and organize items efficiently within the warehouse.

• Prepare and organize materials for assembly and production lines (kitting).

• Drive a forklift for kitting, loading, and unloading operations.

• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and proper handling.

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and system updates.

• Ensure the warehouse is clean and well-organized, adhering to all safety protocols.

• Assemble and test electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical components and systems according to technical specifications.

• Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process.

• Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

• Document all work activities and maintain accurate records of production.

• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes and increase efficiency.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What we're looking for

• A relevant technical diploma or certificate in a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in an assembly or process-oriented role.

• A valid Singapore Forklift license is mandatory.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and tools.

• The ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
