Senior Accountant (Costing)- West - #1111930

He/she is part of the ops finance team and must be familiar with day to day production cost efficiency and waste, handle price and scrap variance review on materials and production floor scape rates , perform excess/obsolete inventory analysis as part of inventory management and month end closing report on WIP and using cost tools to calculate production cost and work out the cost reduction plans and variance reports in the manufacturing environment.

Job Duties 

• Support cost accounting tasks related to Manufacturing Plant

• Cost roll for new item launch

• Participate in quarterly cost roll process

• Support Work order variance review and close jobs

• Purchase price variance review/correction

• Scrap review and re-class activities

• Support on inventories management

• Support month end closing activities

• Prepare Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis report and support E&O management

• Work with the operation team to adhere to company policy

• Support internal and external audit requirement,

• Support ad hoc data analysis / project assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting and/or Finance or professional qualification

• Has knowledge in Costing, Excel and ERP Systems

• Strong analytical, problem solving skill and meticulous

• Ability to work independently to handle daily operational issues

• Comfortable in manufacturing environment

• Audit and MNC experience will be advantageous
