Key Responsibilities
Assist in evaluating and grading green coffee beans for quality, defects, and consistency
Conduct regular cupping sessions and sensory evaluations with the QC team
Record and analyze quality control data for green and roasted coffee
Monitor roasting consistency and profile adherence
Support the QC team in maintaining proper storage conditions for green and roasted beans
Report any quality concerns or inconsistencies to the Senior QC Executive
Help implement quality improvement processes across the coffee supply chain
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the QC lab and cupping area
Assist in sample preparation, labeling, and tracking for internal and external cuppings
Collaborate with procurement and production teams on incoming and outgoing product inspections
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Hospitality, or related field
Strong interest and passion for coffee quality and sensory evaluation.
Basic knowledge of coffee roasting, cupping, and brewing methods.
Willingness to learn and receive sensory calibration training.
Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
