Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in aligning HR practices with the company’s growth in logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding

    • Develop manpower planning strategies in alignment with operations and business needs

    • Oversee recruitment process from job posting, interviewing to onboarding

    • Partner with department heads for workforce planning

  • Performance Management & Employee Relations

    • Implement performance review systems and employee development plans

    • Handle grievance procedures and resolve workplace conflicts professionally

    • Foster a healthy and productive work environment

  • Compensation, Benefits & Payroll

    • Ensure salary benchmarking and review of employee benefits

    • Collaborate with finance for monthly payroll and statutory submissions

  • Learning & Development

    • Identify training needs and implement skill enhancement programs

    • Manage safety and compliance training (especially relevant in logistics operations)

  • HR Compliance & Policy

    • Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and ISO/OHSAS certifications

    • Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies and procedures

  • HR Systems & Reporting

    • Maintain HRIS system and generate regular HR reports for management

    • Monitor attendance, leave, and employee movement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist or managerial experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing or similar industries

  • Knowledge of Singapore labor laws, MOM regulations, and HR best practices

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills,

  • Process CAN-DO attitude

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Familiar with HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Attributes:

  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRI, IHRP) is a plus

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 / OHSAS 18001 HR-related requirements

  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with diverse workforce
