Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead and manage all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training & development, compensation & benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in aligning HR practices with the company’s growth in logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Develop manpower planning strategies in alignment with operations and business needs
Oversee recruitment process from job posting, interviewing to onboarding
Partner with department heads for workforce planning
Performance Management & Employee Relations
Implement performance review systems and employee development plans
Handle grievance procedures and resolve workplace conflicts professionally
Foster a healthy and productive work environment
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
Ensure salary benchmarking and review of employee benefits
Collaborate with finance for monthly payroll and statutory submissions
Learning & Development
Identify training needs and implement skill enhancement programs
Manage safety and compliance training (especially relevant in logistics operations)
HR Compliance & Policy
Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and ISO/OHSAS certifications
Maintain and update employee handbook, HR policies and procedures
HR Systems & Reporting
Maintain HRIS system and generate regular HR reports for management
Monitor attendance, leave, and employee movement
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years of HR generalist or managerial experience, preferably in logistics, warehousing or similar industries
Knowledge of Singapore labor laws, MOM regulations, and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills,
Process CAN-DO attitude
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Familiar with HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Attributes:
Certification in HR (e.g., SHRI, IHRP) is a plus
Familiarity with ISO 9001 / OHSAS 18001 HR-related requirements
Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with diverse workforce
