Electrical Service Engineer - #1101971

• Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repairing electrical systems and components onboard ships.

• Carrying out testing and calibration of gas detectors in workshop.

• Supervising external contractors when needed. 

• Assist crew and Supt with ordering the correct spares.

• Provides detailed reports on work completed.  

Requirements:

• Minimum Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronic

• Able to interpret electrical schematic drawings.

• Good knowledge of shipboard electrical systems such as:

1. Engine control and alarm system

2. Fire alarm system

3. CO2 / water mist system

4. OWS / ODME

5. Ballast water Management System

6. Cargo monitoring system

• At least 1 years of Marine Service Engineer experience 

• Able to work on sudden occasions (weekends, holidays, etc)

• Able to in anchorage and shipyard

• Able to adopt on changing work environment

• Eager to learn and acquire skills for new products, system, tasks.

• High sense of work ethic

• Able to work with multidisciplinary team.

• Able to handle situations in dealing with ship crew

• Proficient with the use business PC or laptop, well familiar with Microsoft Office applications (such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
