Responsibilities:
Establish a systematic audit and engage in resolution of manufacturing issues for the methods and time standards including timely closure for any gaps identified.
Prepare performance reports for manufacturing operations review and identified for further improvement through analysis and engagement with responsible functions.
Design and present layout of manufacturing processes, equipment and materials to optimize space and improvement in work efficiency; using lean methodology and concepts to reduce waste.
Support layout request in the company, ensuring that layout meets company codes and standards.
Ensure master data (primarily MM, Routing, Work Centres, and BOM) are set-up and maintain correctly.
Participation in 6 sigma projects, Kaizen events, and continual improvement projects from time-to-time.
Assist in facility related matters and other assignments assigned by Facility Manager.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in mechanical, electrical engineering with 3 years of experience in production environment .
Experience in writing protocols, qualifications and familiar with facility equipment and systems is plus.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks or Pro/ENGINEER) is a plus
Knowledge of industry standards such as GMP, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 is preferred.
Understanding of cleanroom requirements for manufacturing is beneficial.
