Restaurant Operations Manager - #1171362

Scallion for Free is a Chinese restaurant located in Bugis. We serve Restaurant Operations Manager and are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team and grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen coordination, to ensure smooth service and a consistent guest experience
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise service and kitchen staff; conduct performance reviews
• Manage inventory, purchasing and supplier relationships; control food and labour costs
• Monitor sales, prepare daily/monthly operational and financial reports, and work towards revenue and profit targets
• Ensure compliance with SFA food safety and hygiene standards, workplace safety and licensing requirements
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
• Plan and execute promotions, menu updates and operational improvements with management
• Maintain equipment and premises; coordinate repairs and maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum [3] years of experience in F&B operations, with at least [1–2] years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good understanding of cost control, inventory management and P&L
• Knowledge of food safety regulations; Food Safety Course Level 3 (or willingness to obtain) is an advantage
• Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Excel
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in line with restaurant operating hours
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
