ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and on time

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting

• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, and vendor payments to ensure timely settlements

• Prepare GST returns, tax-related documentation, and ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements

• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies

• Liaise with internal departments, customers, vendors, auditors, and regulatory authorities on accounting-related matters

• Identify discrepancies or process inefficiencies and propose practical solutions to improve accounting operations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required by management

• Perform ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned

• Always comply and adhere to company governance, accounting standards, and internal control policies along with other responsibilities as per company requirements

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Business-level English (Verbal/Written)

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)

• Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in handling financial data

• Good analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics

• May require overtime occasionally during month-end, year-end closing, or audit periods

• Available for immediate employment

ROLE ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates with strong ambition and commitment to build a long-term career in Accounting and Finance

• Candidates with local residency

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience preferred

• Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge and a positive learning attitude are encouraged to apply

• Experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry is an added advantage

• Candidates who are willing to go the extra mile and contribute to continuous process improvement
