About the Opportunity

AlwaysHired is partnering with one of Singapore's established preschool operators to recruit experienced Vice Principals for centres located in Punggol and the West.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced preschool leaders who are passionate about mentoring educators, driving curriculum excellence, and supporting the overall success of a preschool centre.

Key Responsibilities

Centre Leadership

• Support the Principal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre.

• Lead, coach and inspire the teaching team to deliver quality early childhood education.

• Ensure compliance with ECDA regulations, licensing requirements and organisational policies.

• Support centre planning, staffing, enrolment and operational excellence.

Curriculum & Pedagogy

• Guide educators in curriculum planning and classroom implementation.

• Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching to improve teaching practices.

• Monitor children's learning outcomes and ensure high-quality programme delivery.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Staff & Parent Engagement

• Mentor and develop educators to achieve their professional goals.

• Build positive relationships with parents and address feedback professionally.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve centre objectives.

Administration & Compliance

• Maintain accurate centre documentation and records.

• Support audits and ensure compliance with ECDA standards.

• Assist with budgeting, resource planning and centre initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) is mandatory.

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education recognised by ECDA.

• Relevant leadership experience as a Vice Principal, Centre Supervisor or equivalent within a preschool setting.

• Strong understanding of ECDA regulations, licensing requirements and preschool operations.

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teaching teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education.
