Urgent hiring: Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer (Petrochemical) - #1168457

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems, including DCS, PLC, automation equipment, facilities, and related plant systems.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute plant turnaround activities, ensuring all works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Develop, schedule, and lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical, instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and automation systems to enhance equipment reliability and availability.

• Support the Engineering & Maintenance Manager in annual CAPEX budgeting and identify improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and long-term plant sustainability.

• Develop and execute long-term maintenance strategies and plans to improve overall plant reliability.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical, recurring, or significant equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Manage calibration activities for instruments and equipment while ensuring all relevant ISO documentation is properly maintained and updated.

• Coordinate site activities with contractors, vendors, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline from a recognised institution.

• More than 5 years of relevant working experience in the petrochemical industry.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, DCS, and industrial automation systems.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, control diagrams, and PLC/DCS programs.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proactive, independent, responsible, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
