Manufacturing Technician (ALSI Systems) - #1168265

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for machine assembly, module integration, testing support, and production execution to ensure on-time delivery of laser dicing (ALSI) systems. The role supports engineering and manufacturing teams in machine build, troubleshooting, qualification, and continuous improvement activities.

This role will be offered on a 12-month contract basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine assembly, wiring, mechanical integration, and system setup according to work instructions.

• Support machine testing, debugging, and qualification activities.

• Execute production activities to meet manufacturing schedules and shipment commitments.

• Ensure proper handling of precision components and sub-assemblies.

• Assist engineers in machine troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Perform functional checks, calibration, and system verification.

• Escalate technical issues and support corrective actions.

• Follow manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and EHS requirements.

• Ensure workmanship quality meets product specifications.

• Support productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives and 6S activities.

Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or equivalent.

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or equipment assembly experience preferred.

• Fresh graduates with relevant technical backgrounds may be considered.

• Semiconductor equipment experience is an advantage.

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and work instructions.
