Mechanical R&D Engineer - #1167231

Location: Yishun

Working day/hour: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical assembly, module build, and system integration by interpreting CAD layouts, and assembly instructions.

• Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical systems, vacuum leak checks, gas delivery hardware, and motion subsystems.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper handling of tools, lifting procedures, and adherence to mechanical safety practices.

• Provide structured feedback to engineering teams to improve design robustness, ease of assembly, and serviceability.

• Maintain accurate build and issue logs, and coordinate with procurement teams to track and order missing mechanical components and hardware.

Requirements:

• Min Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Hands-on experience in performing mechanical assembly and testing validation

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn
