Job Description

• Responsible for MEP Design, Review project specifications and technical clarifications, Identify/check drawing discrepancies.

• Responsible for MEP Interpretation of tender specifications, review project specifications drawings and any other relevant documents.

• Taking off quantities, obtaining quotations from subcontractors and supplier

• Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive Design costing for tender submission

• Documents preparation for sourcing of quotations for both pre and post tender stages

• Preparation of tender evaluation, conduct negotiation with subcontractors & suppliers

• Able to Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Subcontractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.

• Liaise with the Procurement Department to ensure that all material are procured in accordance with the project schedule

• To attend progress meetings, technical meetings, material submission meetings and etc to capture all variation claims and potential variation works and time implication.

• Assist Project Manager in Supervising and Coordination of Mechanical and Electrical works.

• To ensure a timely closure of all main contract and subcontract final accounts.

• Any other duties that are deemed required to complete the work

Job Requirement

• Possess degree/diploma (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering /Building/ Quantity Surveying) or similar

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience in Construction industry

• Good written communication skills

• Good track record

• Able to work on multiple projects, within simultaneous timeline

• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity

• Well-versed in MS offices tools i.e. Words, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong understanding of M&E methodologies and best practices.
