QA Engineer (Semiconductor) - #1167471

Location: Kaki Bukit
Salary: Up to S$5,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality control processes across manufacturing and production lines.

• Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure materials, components and finished products meet established quality standards.

• Investigate quality issues and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Work closely with production, engineering and other cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, reduce defects and improve process yield.

• Monitor key quality metrics, process capability and defect trends to identify areas for improvement.

• Support internal, external and certification audits, including ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.

• Develop and maintain quality documentation, inspection standards, work instructions and quality records.

• Support supplier quality management, including supplier performance monitoring and incoming material inspection.

• Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality, process efficiency and manufacturing performance.

• Provide quality-related support during new product introduction (NPI), process changes and production improvement projects.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in a manufacturing, precision engineering or semiconductor environment.

• Strong experience in quality control processes, inspections, NCR, RCA and CAPA.

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.

• Experience working with production and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing and quality issues.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA or process capability analysis is advantageous.

• Lean / Six Sigma certification will be an advantage.
