Responsibilities

• Perform testing and analysis of semi-finished and finished polyolefin products, including polyethylene and polypropylene, using laboratory analytical and testing equipment.
• Support quality assurance activities by maintaining accurate procedures, records, and documentation in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors and technical representatives to diagnose issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Manage laboratory inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams on product investigations, technical evaluations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in laboratory ISO, safety, and environmental management initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Experience in polymer material processing and testing is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing, analytical techniques, and quality assurance practices.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or coordinating repairs for laboratory equipment is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements is an added advantage.
