About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer for a Global MNC in a growing automation solution company As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in coordinating between various stakeholders, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Key responsibilities

1. Monitor and manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones to ensure all deliverables are met on time

2. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, specifications, and site records

3. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution and resource allocation

4. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

5. Manage project budgets and costs, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality

6. Liaise between the project team, clients, and regulatory authorities to communicate progress and resolve issues promptly

7. Prepare and submit progress reports, variation orders, and claims documentation as required

8. Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning to minimise project delays and cost overruns

9. Support the site supervisor and project manager in day-to-day project operations and decision-making

10. Maintain accurate records of all project activities, including photographs, measurements, and test results

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction project management or engineering roles

3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations applicable in Singapore

4. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Project

5. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

7. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

8. Ability to work independently and take initiative whilst being a team player

9. Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate site visits and inspections
