Business Development
Maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure the Company is informed of their needs as early as possible.
Identify business opportunities early and collaborate with Headquarters to develop competitive solutions.
Follow up regularly with customers on potential business opportunities.
Take a leading role in presenting the Company's technical solutions and proposals to customers.
Travel to customer sites to deliver presentations on products.
Update the Company's installed equipment database by documenting equipment installed at customer facilities.
Gather information on customers' future projects, maintenance plans, and spending strategies.
Develop tailored strategies for approaching each customer.
Understand the competitive landscape and formulate strategies to strengthen the Company's competitive position.
Understand country-specific regulations, policies, and strategies, and assess their impact on the power business.
Coordinate business development activities with internal stakeholders across the Company.
Operations During the Bidding Stage
Take overall responsibility for all technical aspects of project bids through contract closeout.
Prepare technical proposals for the electrical scope, including generators, for new projects, primarily CCGT Equipment Supply, EPC Services, Steam Power Equipment, Air Quality Control Systems, Fuel Cells, and other MHI Power Business products, within the required timeline.
Support technical clarification meetings with customers.
Manage and review technical proposal submissions.
Conduct project risk assessments covering technical terms, schedules, clients, partners, countries, and other project-related risks, and establish appropriate mitigation measures.
Participate in negotiations and support the successful closeout of contractual details.
Lead negotiations and discussions with developers, consultants, EPC contractors, and other related parties to secure project awards.
Coordinate internally with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Costing, Procurement, Construction, Project Execution, Development, Manufacturing, Headquarters, and Mitsubishi Generator in Japan to prepare the most competitive proposal.
Project Execution
Monitor all orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain strong relationships with customers' project teams to ensure the Company fulfills all contractual obligations.
Provide continuous technical support to customers to ensure satisfaction with the Company's products and services.
Technical Support
Assist clients in resolving any failures or issues arising after the completion of the Company's work.
Review technical presentations related to the Company's products and services to support business development activities, including presentations at conferences.
Requirement:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in a power generation plant.
Experience in bidding for large gas turbine projects.
Knowledge of CCGT, EPC, Steam Power Equipment, Fuel Cell, and engineering functions.
Knowledge of thermal power plants and major equipment (GT/ST)
Commitment to compliance and company policies.
Preferable to have an experience to work and execute the thermal power plant project as a plant engineer and/or commissioning engineer
Preferable to have a knowledge of commercial terms
