About the role
Assist HOD to oversee company's Overseas Franchise Developments and Local Leasing activities
Key responsibilities
(Overseas Franchise)
Ensure uniformity on all franchise developments
Work closely with overseas Franchisee and JV partners to ensure smooth opening of stores and launch of activities
Build good rapport and communicate effectively with Franchisees
Collect Financial data from franchise outlets, monitor, and analyse the performance. Identify opportunities for sales growth through promotions and sharing of best practises
Assist in maintaining and updating of Franchise documentations i.e. SOP, new dishes launch
Conduct overseas / local audits and in accordance to the company guidelines and report findings for follow up actions
Work with marketing department to supply franchisees with essential support. Policing marketing and social media contents to ensure compliances
Perform administrative duties for the franchise management team, such as arranging travel, draft training itinerary, coordinate visits, preparing trip reports and organizing bi-annual business review meetings
Using available franchise tools, conduct preliminary franchise assessment for new interested parties.
Proactively engage in market research works for new market penetration if any.
(Local Leasing)
Assist HOD in reviewing Tenancy agreements and conditions
Report on traffic and tenant mix observation for potential sites enabling smooth decision-making process
Conduct market pricing analysis to ensure we are competitive in prices across different food establishments (food courts, coffeeshops, restaurants).
Support and liaise with various departments to ensure compliance with lease management practices and administration
(Secondary Tasks)
Facilitate ordering of ops / store supplies for franchisees during pre and post store opening as and when required.
Get involved and brainstorm ideas not limited to conducting surveys for new concept if any.
Work closely with other departments such as Operations, Culinary and Project teams for new projects’ delivery and implementation
Any other Ad-hoc activities
About you
Min. Diploma in Business Management/ Hospitality
Minimum 1 year of job experience. Operations/ Client facing experience preferred
Able to travel overseas
Team Player
Attention to details and able to work independently
Possess strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Effective bilingual in English and Mandarin. Other languages like Malay or Korean is a plus.
