Quality Assurance Engineer - Selenium (Bank, Contract) - #1166641

• Conduct non-regression testing for upcoming application releases to verify system reliability and product quality

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium-based automation frameworks

• Work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and support timely resolution

• Review test outcomes, detect defects, and manage issue tracking through to closure

• Actively contribute to the test automation community by sharing expertise, standards, and best practices

• Drive automation initiatives to shorten regression testing cycles and expand overall test coverage

• Execute and oversee scheduled testing activities on daily, weekly, and monthly cycles

• Continuously enhance existing testing processes, workflows, and automation frameworks

• Prepare detailed test reports, findings, and supporting documentation for stakeholders

• Participate in rotational shift arrangements to support coordination with overseas headquarters and global operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or a related computing discipline

• At least 3–5 years of experience in software testing, preferably within banking or financial services environments

Strong practical experience in the following areas:

• Test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Selenium and Java

• Programming and scripting languages such as Python and Java

• Source code and version control platforms, especially Git

• CI/CD tools including Jenkins or equivalent platforms

• SQL scripting and database technologies, preferably SQL Server or Oracle

• RESTful API testing and validation

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Docker, Kafka, and MQSeries technologies

• Familiarity with enterprise job schedulers such as Control-M

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus

• Experience working within Agile delivery and ITIL-based environments

• Understanding of Lean management methodologies

• Professional certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB, or other related credentials
