Job Responsibilities
I) Programme Operations Function
1. Coordinate programme activities related to children, youth and family department.
2. Manage and liaising with multiple stakeholders in the community to ensure smooth operations of programmes under the department. This includes BCARE’s beneficiaries, volunteers and community partners.
3. Ensure day-to-day programme operations are carried out professionally and according to acceptable standards.
II) Programme Development Function
4. Participate in needs assessment to ascertain the validity and viability of programmes.
5. Participate in intake assessment to ascertain eligibility and suitability of Clients for programmes.
6. Conduct home visits to beneficiaries of the programme as required.
7. Work with Department Heads in planning, implementing and monitoring programmes through:
a) Working out programme objectives based on the needs of Clients.
b) Working out sound financial, operational and logistical plans for programmes.
c) Working with programme coordinators, volunteers and relevant parties in the implementation process.
d) Attend to stakeholder’s enquiry as necessary.
8. Monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of programmes against programme objectives.
9. Plan and conduct activities related to school-based programmes.
III Administrative Function
10. Coordinate the assessment and planning of programmes.
11. Ensure timely and appropriate submission of review/outcome reports.
12. Maintain proper records and closure of programmes.
13. Managing and updating Client databases and tracking sheets as necessary.
14. Ensure the safe-keeping of important documents.
15. Provide other general administrative support as assigned.
Skills, Competencies and Qualification
• Passionate about engaging children, youth, and families from diverse backgrounds, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
• Possesses strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively while coordinating with volunteers and other stakeholders to deliver meaningful programmes.
• Able to plan and facilitate engaging activities that encourage the participation, learning, and development of children and youth.
• Has at least one year of experience working directly with children and/or youth in a professional or community setting.
• Willing to work occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings to support programme delivery and events.
