Purpose of the Job:
Provide accounting and administrative support to the management team to ensure efficient operation of the center. A good team player who supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
Key responsibility areas:
Data Entry
Recording of Accounts Receivables and Payables and ensure timely and accurate monthly closing activities.
Prepare/verify payment voucher, petty cash vouchers, issue cheques and update ledgers.
Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
Deposit cheques & cash collections.
Assist in attending incoming phone calls and walk-in enquiries.
Filing of accounting documents.
Assist in preparing audit schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager/Management.
Required qualifications and experience:
Minimum 1 years of relevant accounting.
Computer literacy and experience with accounting software, such as Oracle, MYOB and etc.
Required competencies:
Excellent numeric skills with exceptional attention to details, able to meet deadlines, meticulous and accurate.
Able to work well under pressure, maintain composure, multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on assignments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
