About the role

Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Specialist, Operations to join our dynamic team in the East Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role within our operations management function. As a Senior Project Specialist, you will oversee and deliver complex operational projects that drive efficiency, optimisation and business growth across our manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring successful project execution, stakeholder alignment and the achievement of key operational objectives that directly impact our company's performance and market position.


Key responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage end-to-end operational projects from conception through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline constraints

  2. Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocations and risk management strategies aligned with organisational objectives

  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, transport and manufacturing departments to ensure seamless project execution

  4. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum and quality standards

  5. Prepare detailed project documentation, progress reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and management

  6. Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilisation of assets

  7. Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies based on project findings and industry best practices

  8. Support the identification and implementation of automation, technology solutions and system enhancements across operations

  9. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the professional development of the operations team

  10. Liaise with external stakeholders, vendors and contractors to facilitate smooth project delivery


What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, project management or related roles within manufacturing, transport, logistics or similar industries

  2. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex operational projects within stipulated timelines and budgets

  3. Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics operations, manufacturing processes or transport management principles

  4. Advanced proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and software (such as Microsoft Project, Agile, Six Sigma or similar frameworks)

  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and develop practical solutions

  6. Demonstrated expertise in change management and the ability to drive adoption of new processes and systems across teams

  7. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels

  8. Proficiency in data analysis and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking to measure project success and operational improvements

  9. Leadership capability with experience mentoring and developing team members

  10. Relevant professional qualifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are highly desirable

  11. Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements and safety standards in manufacturing, logistics or transport is advantageous
