About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Operations to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in our East Region location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising operational projects within our warehousing, storage and distribution division. As Project Manager, Operations, you will be responsible for planning, executing and closing projects that enhance our operational efficiency and drive business growth. This role is essential to ensuring our operations run smoothly whilst maintaining our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in the logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
Plan, initiate and define project scope, objectives and deliverables aligned with operational strategic goals
Develop comprehensive project timelines, budgets and resource allocation plans
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and completion
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators and maintain detailed project documentation
Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues to minimise impact on operations
Liaise with stakeholders, management and external partners to maintain communication and manage expectations
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and industry regulations throughout project lifecycle
Implement process improvements and optimisation initiatives within warehouse and distribution operations
Manage project budgets and control costs whilst maintaining quality standards
Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to enhance future project delivery
What we're looking for
Proven project management experience of at least 3-5 years in warehousing, storage, distribution or related logistics operations
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and distribution processes
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated proficiency in using project management tools and software
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse, multi-disciplinary teams
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental compliance in logistics operations
Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent (desirable)
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma (advantageous)
