Test Lead - #1166252

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the testing team to deliver high-quality software releases within deadlines.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with project requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee functional, regression, performance, and automation testing activities.

• Ensure test coverage and traceability through requirement mapping and risk-based testing approaches.

• Monitor and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Mentor and guide testers and promote best testing practices within the team.

• Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate testing activities with external vendors or partners when applicable.

• Provide support for night and after-office hour testing activities as required.

Key Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing end-to-end testing for medium to large-scale projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

• Strong experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Quality Centre, and TestRail.

• Hands-on expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar tools is a plus.

• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies.

• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results under pressure.

• Experience in performance testing and automation testing is advantageous.
