Software Business Analyst - #1166175

About the role

As a fast-growing IT solution company, we are looking for a Software Business Analyst to join our team. You will act as the vital bridge between our clients and the technical team, ensuring that we don't just deliver a project on time but also build the right solution that addresses the client's core business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand, analyze, and document business requirements

• Translate business needs into clear and detailed functional specifications and Software Requirement Specification (SRS) documents

• Analyze existing business processes and recommend practical software solutions to improve efficiency

• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood

• Prepare process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications where necessary

• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), verify developed features, and ensure all requirements are fulfilled before deployment

• Identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with developers to resolve defects

• Work closely with QA and support teams during project deployment.

• Facilitate project meetings and effectively communicate project progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders

• Prepare project-related documentation including meeting minutes, requirement specifications, UAT reports, user guides, and release documentation

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing professional consultation and timely support throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline

• At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, Software Project Coordinator, or similar role

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional specifications

• Familiarity with web applications, databases, APIs, or software development concepts will be an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
