Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities in the commercial sectors.
Conduct specifying activities with architects, designers, consultants and owners to build project pipelines.
Recommend and tailor appropriate solutions to meet client needs, positioning the company as a trusted advisor.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Develop and execute plans to achieve sales targets for designated markets or product segments.
Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals and business cases to management and clients.
Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks and provide input for business strategies.
Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates and performance reports to management.
Collaborate with internal functions (Eg marketing, operations. Technical teams) to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development, account management or solution selling, either directly to end users or via specifications to consultants.
Prior established working relationships with architects / designers / consultants / owners.
Understanding of the window films, architectural or interior-related industry, or similar building materials/solutions will be preferred.
Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities and markets, from prospecting to closure.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
Able to work independently, self-driven and results-oriented, with minimal supervision.
Innovative and proactive, with strong initiative, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge of market conditions in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia is not mandatory, but will be considered an added bonus.
Willingness to travel regionally when required.
