• Position : Application Engineer, Actuators

• Location : Tagore Industrial

• Working hours : Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $7000 + Transport Allowances $500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Leave

• Duration : Permanent

• Industry : Industrial Parts Suppliers

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice on actuator selection, sizing, installation, integration, and application suitability.

• Review customer specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements to recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare technical documents such as sizing calculations, datasheets, selection reports, submittals, test reports, and project records.

• Conduct site visits, application assessments, troubleshooting, and commissioning support when required.

• Maintain updated product knowledge on electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators, valve actuator interfaces, control accessories, and relevant standards.

• Liaise with principals and suppliers on technical queries, certifications, documentation, and training resources.

• Support technical content development such as application notes, product comparisons, FAQs, case studies, and internal reference materials.

• Conduct product training, technical presentations, demonstrations, or knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams and customers.

• Work with sales, project, and technical teams to propose practical and cost-effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Relevant technical experience in actuators, valves, automation, instrumentation, mechanical systems, process equipment, or related engineering products.

• Good understanding of product selection, sizing, installation, troubleshooting, and application requirements.

• Able to read and interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering documents.

• Comfortable preparing technical reports, submittals, and product-related documentation.

• Able to communicate technical information clearly to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Willing to attend site visits, customer meetings, demonstrations, and commissioning support when required.
