Equipment Engineer | QC Laboratory | Medical Device Industry

Join a leading medical device organization and play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Quality Control (QC) laboratory equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and working in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of QC laboratory test equipment.

• Execute preventive maintenance plans to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

• Coordinate equipment repairs, including sourcing and managing spare parts to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate equipment service logs, maintenance records, and calibration documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the QC team to troubleshoot equipment issues and provide timely updates on repair status.

• Ensure maintenance tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

• Support the introduction, qualification, and transfer of new QC laboratory equipment, including conducting user training where required.

• Escalate and resolve equipment-related issues affecting laboratory operations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

• Assist the Quality Manager with projects and operational activities.

• Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Quality Management System requirements, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other applicable standards.
