Responsibility
Responsible for the efficient organization and administration of Receipt, Storage, Issue Sections or Sub-stores operations;
To ensure all delivered spares and materials passed QC inspection prior to acceptance into stock inventories;
To ensure all stock items are stored and maintained in good serviceable conditions;
To manage Store Location Management System and ensure the data accuracy;
To coordinate the maintenance of ASRS and all the material handling equipment and ensure that they are in good serviceable condition;
To implement and enforce a Warehouse Safety Programme that will result in excellence housekeeping and cleanliness in Central Warehouse/Storeroom under his charge;
To investigate stock discrepancies, when detected and have these referred to Senior Executive of Inventory and Warehouse Section for further action;
To regularly review the Store Security System and Safety matters and be responsible for these activities;
To establish a system of filing for quality documents so as to ensure that all accounting document are readily traceable for auditing;
To review storage requirements on a regular basis and propose proper alternative to management when such need arises;
To assist Senior Executive of Inventory & Warehouse Section in reviewing the Store procedures and establishment for Stores to meet the changing requirements;
To supervise Depot Scrap Yard security and ensure its cleanliness;
To assist Senior Executive of Inventory & Warehousing Section in maintaining warehousing staff disciplines and achieve logistic performance targets.
To train the Store Personnel on Operation of ASRS and other Material Handling Equipment.
To ensure all lifting equipment are in good service conditions and arrange PE inspection in accordance with MOM's requirements.
To conduct 100% Stock Taking for all the stock items in Warehouse.
To assist in scrapped materials disposal from users.
Requirements
GCE "O" / "A" level or NTC-3 in Engineering
Preferably with Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in stores management
Knowledge in MS office and Material management system
