Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting advertisements across platforms (MyCareersFuture, Jobstreet, LinkedIn), screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
Coordinate with external recruitment agencies and educational institutions for internship programs when necessary.
2. Onboarding & Employee Life Cycle Management
Lead the onboarding process, conducting orientations for new hires across retail outlets, corporate offices, and R&D facilities.
Prepare employment contracts, HR letters (confirmation, promotion, termination), and maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee personnel files.
Oversee smooth offboarding and exit management procedures, including conducting exit interviews and asset retrieval.
3. Payroll, Attendance & Benefits Administration
Administer monthly payroll inputs, tracking attendance, retail shift allowances, commission calculations, and overtime.
Manage employee leaves, claims, medical insurances, and government-paid claims (e.g., NS claims, maternity/paternity leave claims) via the HRIS system.
Handle statutory submissions and ensure compliance with CPF contributions and IRAS (IR8A/IR21) guidelines.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Work Passes
Maintain full compliance with the Singapore Employment Act and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations.
Manage the application, renewal, and cancellation of foreign worker passes (Permits) and monitor company quota limitations.
5. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, providing balanced counsel to both staff and managers.
Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, assisting department heads with KPIs, probation reviews, and development plans.
Organize corporate team-building events, retail staff incentive programs, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive, healthcare-focused corporate culture.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Generalist, or HR Administrator in Singapore.
Experience in HealthTech, Medical Devices, Retail, or a manufacturing/R&D corporate setup is highly advantageous.
Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF, and IRAS guidelines.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for payroll reporting) and hands-on experience using local HRIS/Payroll systems.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders ranging from retail staff to medical R&D executives.
Strong problem-solving ability, emotional intelligence, and ability to handle confidential data with strict discretion.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving tech/retail environment.
