Material Planner / Supply Chain Executive - #1164869

As our first dedicated Material Planner, you will be hands-on in shaping igus Singapore’s local planning framework. This includes establishing inventory logic, migrating baseline settings into our ERP, and standardizing replenishment workflows.

You will manage ~15,000 active SKUs, balancing production continuity, customer delivery performance, and working capital optimization. This role is the key fulfillment bridge between igus Singapore, igus HQ in Germany, and local logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning Process Implementation: Set up local inventory rules, ERP parameters, and replenishment workflows.

• Material Planning & Procurement: Convert demand signals into daily purchase plans, prioritize critical SKUs, and optimize order efficiency.

• Supplier Liaison & Fulfillment: Act as the operational bridge with HQ and logistics partners, track orders, and expedite urgent materials.

• Inventory Optimization: Monitor safety stock, manage slow-moving/obsolete items, and reduce working capital risk.

• Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain accurate ERP data, compile inventory health reports, and track supplier performance.

Requirements & Competencies

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Analytics.

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in material planning, inventory coordination, or procurement.

• Exposure to ERP rollouts or warehouse parameter setup is highly valued.

• ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

• Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data compilation).

• Power BI for dashboards and performance visualization.

• Proactive problem-solver with a structured mindset.

• Strong communicator in written and spoken English, comfortable collaborating across time zones.
