Facilities Technician ( Gas & Chemical & Cleanroom) - #1164870

Job Purpose

To support the safe and efficient operation of cleanroom facilities, specialty gas systems, and bulk chemical systems through monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and housekeeping activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cleanroom environmental and facilities parameters and support routine operations.

• Operate and support specialty gas distribution systems in accordance with established procedures.

• Operate and support bulk chemical dispense systems and related equipment.

• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic corrective maintenance activities.

• Respond promptly to alarms, production requests, and abnormal operating conditions.

• Support shutdowns, tie-ins, improvement works, and system expansion activities.

• Maintain housekeeping standards, 5S practices, and accurate maintenance documentation.

• Follow safety, cleanroom, and permit-to-work requirements at all times.

• Participate in emergency response activities when required.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services, or a related discipline.

• Prior hands-on experience in facilities, gas, or chemical systems is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, cleanroom, gas, or chemical distribution systems preferred.

• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

• Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot on-site issues.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.
