What You Will Do

As IT and Pedagogy staff, you will report to the Programme Leader of 42 Singapore, and work to operationalize all aspects of Ecole 42 programme, in both the pedagogical implementation and technical infrastructure of 42 Singapore, including but not limited to;

• Assist in maintaining local IT infrastructure with 150 workstations

• Set up accounts and workstations

• Install and configure software and hardware as required

• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to 42’s network requirements

• Troubleshoot issues as necessary

• Update systems with new releases and models

• Implement pedagogy of 42 programme via the system and Piscines, contributing towards student’s learning and achieving outcomes of gaining skills for jobs

• Work with 42sg team colleagues to build a strong community of learners with active spirit of learning

• Point of contact for Pedago and IT matters for 42 Singapore students and 42network

• Any other matters as necessary for the smooth operations of 42 programme

Who We Are Looking For

• Relevant Diploma/degree in Information Technology/42 programme (min. level 9 or above) will be advantageous.

• Proficient in programming and networking, such as C, Python, C++, and any languagues.

• Proficient in the Linux network architecture and MacOs environment.

• Knowledge of Networking (routing, FireWall (pfSense), switch configuration (Cisco), Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana), Virtualization (ESXi / Vcenter), Deployment tools (Ansible, Munki), Backup (Veeam) are advantageous.

• Experience as a System Administrator, Network administrator or similar role will be advantageous.

• Adaptable, resourceful and self-motivated.

• Have a knack for bonding people together and love to work with people.

• Team player with a high level of initiative and able to work independently and under pressure.

• Should possess a flexible and entrepreneurial nature to work successfully on new programs, contributing experience, intuition, and teamwork to evaluate problems and implement solutions.
