Equipment Engineer I Up to $5,000 - #1164334

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal equipment performance to support high-quality production in a cleanroom environment.

• Maximize equipment availability through timely preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective long-term corrective solutions.

• Drive improvements in equipment uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), throughput, and overall reliability.

• Analyze equipment performance data, alarms, and fault logs to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with Process Engineers to reduce defects and enhance process stability.

• Develop, review, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures.

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Support equipment installation, relocation, startup, qualification, and commissioning activities.

• Work closely with equipment vendors and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Lead cost-saving initiatives, optimize spare parts management, and improve equipment efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and coaching to junior engineers and technicians.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while adhering to 5S standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across equipment maintenance and manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in a manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement within a high-volume or highly controlled manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and equipment vendor teams.

• Demonstrated growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, technologies, and processes.

• Proficient in using data analysis tools and methodologies to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
