Key Responsibilities
Ensure optimal equipment performance to support high-quality production in a cleanroom environment.
Maximize equipment availability through timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective long-term corrective solutions.
Drive improvements in equipment uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), throughput, and overall reliability.
Analyze equipment performance data, alarms, and fault logs to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Process Engineers to reduce defects and enhance process stability.
Develop, review, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support equipment installation, relocation, startup, qualification, and commissioning activities.
Work closely with equipment vendors and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Lead cost-saving initiatives, optimize spare parts management, and improve equipment efficiency.
Provide technical guidance, on-the-job training, and coaching to junior engineers and technicians.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment while adhering to 5S standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across equipment maintenance and manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement within a high-volume or highly controlled manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and equipment vendor teams.
Demonstrated growth mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment, technologies, and processes.
Proficient in using data analysis tools and methodologies to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
