Accounts Payable Assistant - #1164025

• Position: Accounts Assistant

• Location: Boon Lay

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,000 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Construction

Main Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) functions for projects purchases, expenses as well as petty cash claims

• Perform 3-way matching of Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), subcontract agreements, and invoices

• Prepare and process payments via GIRO, bank transfer, or cheque in accordance with OA approvals

• Reconcile vendor and subcontractor statements; follow up on discrepancies and disputes

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including AP accruals and project cost cut-off

• Support auditors in year-end audit and provide AP-related schedules and documents

• Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of AP experience, preferably in construction or engineering industry

• Hands-on experience with Xero accounting software
