Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical design team, including Design Engineers and Draftsmen.

• Plan, assign, and monitor design resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.

• Review and approve engineering calculations, technical documents, and fabrication drawings.

• Design and review pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air coolers, piping systems, and structural components in accordance with project requirements.

• Ensure designs comply with applicable international codes and industry standards, including ASME, API, and TEMA.

• Support tender and proposal activities by providing pre-engineering design and technical input.

• Coordinate with clients, project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitor design schedules, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project delivery.

• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, quality, and design efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 7–10 years of relevant mechanical design experience, preferably in process equipment or oil & gas industries.

• Strong design experience in pressure vessels, heat exchangers, air coolers, piping systems, and structural components.

• Good knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, ASME B31.1/B31.3/B31.8, TEMA, API 650, API 660, and API 661.

• Hands-on experience with engineering software such as PV Elite, HTRI, STAAD Pro, and NozzlePro.
