About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive (AP / AR) to join our finance team on a full-time basis at our office in the Airport Logistics Park of Singapore (ALPS). In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring the smooth flow of financial transactions and maintaining strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors and clients. This position is essential to the financial health of our organisation and offers the opportunity to develop expertise in key accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Processing and managing accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing

2. Managing accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment collection, and follow-up on outstanding balances

3. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner

4. Recording and reconciling transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail

5. Preparing aged receivables and payables reports for management review

6. Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes

7. Liaising with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve payment queries and issues

8. Assisting with general accounting duties and ad-hoc financial administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

2. 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles

3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous

4. Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy

5. Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

6. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices relevant to AP/AR functions

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and external contacts

8. Reliability and integrity in handling financial information and transactions

9. Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and develop in the role
